What is Rowan's Alpaca Classic made of?
Alpaca fibers are characterized by their great thermal capacity, their softness and the resistance they provide to the fabric to make it more durable. In addition, as its fibers are so fine, it allows the creation of a very thin strand that is 3 times more resistant than sheep and 7 times hotter.
Cotton, for its part, is a very popular natural fiber with great absorption, as it can absorb up to 27 times its weight in water.
How is Rowan's Alpaca Classic wool?
Each ball contains 25 grams and 120 meters.
Its thickness is recommended to knit with the 3.75 mm knitting needles.
To make a 10 x 10 cm square you should mount 23 stitches and do 31 laps.
This wool must be hand washed and is not suitable for drying or ironing.
It is recommended to dry it horizontally without hanging.
